Gee whiz, artists are so sensitive! City sculptor Alex Gardega — seething over the Fearless Girl statue being placed across from Wall Street’s Charging Bull — has decided to retaliate with a work of his own. Gardega created a statue of a small dog, titled Pissing Pug, and his sloppily crafted pooch takes direct aim at Fearless Girl — or, at least, at her left leg.

Gardega said the "Fearless Girl" wasn't made by some individual artist making a statement, but made by a billion dollar financial firm trying to promote an index fund.

I have a lot of empathy for the creator of the bull, Arturo," Gardega told NBC 4 New York in a statement early Tuesday. "I'm a pretty happy person, not seething or angry and certainly not anti-feminist. My piece is not without a sense of humor. There is plenty of room for Fearless Girl it just interferes with another artists work/vision."

The artist said he removed the statue, named "Sketchy Dog," after a few hours so no one would take it
